Why a suggested link is not accepted
Canuffalo is looking for quality links. It doesn't matter if you have a big professional website with lots of traffic or a small site that you put together through Yahoo or some other web service. We look for sites that have quality content and are relevant to the region. These are the main criteria that we use when deciding whether or not to add a link. Some of the reasons why links are rejected:
  • not relevant to the region
  • violates the terms of service
  • non-relevant web rings
  • all link farms
  • not enough quality content
  • badly designed sites with slow loading times, dead links, excessive pop ups, etc.

    Why a button ad is not accepted.
    We love our advertisers. It's the way we keep Canuffalo up and running. However, there are some types of advertising that we will not run. In keeping with our overall philosophy of providing only relevant and quality content in our web pages, we decided that the same goes for the type of advertising we will accept.
    We prefer local and regional ads. You will never see any non-relevant pay per click ads on Canuffalo. The businesses we are looking to attract are local area businesses that offer products or services to residents and visitors alike. Reasons for an ad not being accepted:

  • ads not relevant to the website.
  • ads that violate the terms of service
  • ads that use landing pages to redirect viewers to non-relevant content.
  • ads that direct link to merchandise or services not relevant to the website.
  • ads that exceed the accepted file sizes.
  • ads that are not in the proper format (jpg, gif, png)
    • Relevance and Quality.
    This is what we look for in our advertisers. Visitors to the website will know that all of our ads are pre-screened for quality and content.
    This increases the chances of receiving click through's from motivated buyers.
    If your ad is not accepted for reasons other than a terms of service violation, you can still place your ad in our
    free classifieds.
