Niagara County is located in western New York State. The county
seat is Lockport, NY, first settled in 1816 and incorporated in 1865. Niagara County is most famous for its Seventh Wonder of the World, Niagara Falls. It is also famous for its incredible wines. Great boating and fishing tournaments are a natural for the area, with the Erie Canal running through the county.
In the summer, the region comes alive with festivals and fairs, along with free concerts offered to the public by local and nationally famous acts. Add to that the excitement of Vegas style gaming and entertainment and you have a vibrant area of Western New York. |
