Western New York Tourism

Western New York is one of the finest areas to live in all of New York State, perhaps the entire US. Known as "The City of Good Neighbors", Buffalo has a reputation of being friendly and helpful to each other and visitors alike. With moderately priced housing, good schools, good roads and relatively low crime, WNY excels. Add to this several professional sports franchises, fast commuting, numerous colleges and universities, numerous festivals, fairs and events, great dining and nightlife, beaches on two of the Great Lakes along with terrific skiing, snowboarding and snowmobiling. Want more? How about museums; performing arts; city, county and state parks; lots of shopping centers and retail stores; fishing; hunting; and don't forget about a little place called Niagara Falls. A mix of rural and metropolitan, Western New York offers something for everybody. Add in the close proximity to Southern Ontario and you have one terrific place to live and visit.
